In January 2017, Michele Aaron presented an initial research paper on the Life:Moving project at the MeCCSA (Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association) conference in Leeds.
The Life:Moving exhibition – marking the end of the research project ‘Digital Technology and Human Vulnerability’ – took place at St Barnabas in Erdington, Birmingham, at the end of April 2017. This exhibition has been documented on this site.
In May 2017, Michele, Briony, Keisha and Haifa took part in a special screening and discussion of Life:Moving as part of ‘A Matter of Life and Death’, the Dying Matters Awareness week of events taking place at mac Birmingham.
In June 2017, Briony and Michele delivered a research paper on Life:Moving at the NECS (European Network of Cinema and Media Studies) conference in Paris.
During the month of July 2017, the Life:Moving Exhibition was installed in the lobby of John Taylor Hospice.
